Tuition Payment Options

Tuition statements will be provided in May and will reflect the amount earned through your participation in Friends of SPJ and any scholarships, grants or financial aid. At that time, you must indicate whether you intend to pay your tuition in full on or before August 15 or enroll in SMART Tuition. If you indicate that you intend to pay in full and payment is not received by August 15, financing is available through SMART Tuition, based on monthly payments, to cover the cost of tuition and fees. You must enroll in SMART Tuition if your tuition is not paid in full by August 15. All families choosing to finance their child’s tuition must enroll in the SMART Tuition program and are responsible for keeping up payments. If an unforeseen event happens that makes it a hardship, it is necessary that you contact the school to make other arrangements.

Tuition and fees can be mailed to the office anytime before August 15. A $30.00 fee will be charged for checks returned for non-sufficient funds.
Participation in our “Friends of SPJ” program can be used to reduce your tuition costs. Information is available in the school office.

Tuition Assistance
No child will be denied a Catholic education at SS. Philip and James School. We have a Tuition Assistance Program available. All requests are treated confidentially. A private school aid service is used to help assess the degree of family need. Every effort is made within the limits of these funds to respond to family needs. Please contact the school office for additional information.

Fundraising
Fundraising is a vital part of Catholic schools. In order to keep our tuition rates as low as possible, it is necessary for each family to work on either our Silent Auction Committee or Bingo. We ask that each family participate in these fundraisers.
